We had our CO visit this week. It was nice the talk that he gave thursday night about letting our advancement be made manifest he used a nice illustration about what kind of publisher we don't want to be. He called it a wheel-barrow publisher. he explained it that if we always have to have someone push us to the meetings or out in service then we will never progress because a wheel-barrow doesn't move unless someone is behind it. Also intially in the truth others will help you "carry your load" but when we mature we have to carry our own load. Aaron and I both really enjoyed that illustration and thought you might like it to. We also went out in service Saturday. It was awesome. At every home they give you a seat and you have to take it even if your only there for a few minutes. And you rarely talk to just one person, if there are other near by they come over and listen to what you have to say. And the kids here are not shy and they ask questions and listen to what you have to say about the Bible. Its cute when I walk down the street the kids will yell out white woman but in the Liberian English it sounds like it would if you were holding your tongue and saying it. We look forward to more experience in the ministry here.
We also went to the beach. They say they try to go once a month. It was fun. The waves were big and the current was strong. A sister who is here from Kentucky and I went body boarding and got a few good waves. Aaron Played scoccer with the rest of the group. It was nice getting to know a few of the brothers. They are all very nice and seem easy to get along with. We are still going through orientation. Maybe today I will find out what I will be doing. Aaron has started to build a few things for our room. We hope to move into it by Wednesday.

This man came up and talked to a few of us, he says hes the life guard there at the beach. Guess how old he is?.....................he's 66. Ican't do that!
